We are looking for passionate, energetic volunteers to help us create and maintain a sustainable organic food system. Conveniently located on First St between Quail and North Lake in the West Hill Neighborhood of Albany, AVG is a tri-fold project: Subsistence Food Gardens, Abundance Planting and a Garden Market
You can help. We are looking for people to:
1) Be a Garden Partner, which means you’re looking for land and ready to grow
2) Be a mentor or Garden Sponsor, who will help engage with other participants that may be new to gardening in shared garden plots.
3) Volunteer to help with abundance planting to meet urgent community food needs.
